Rise of the Planet of the Apes review

Early I watch the new 'Planet of the Apes' starring James Fanco as Will Rodman , Caroline Aranha as Freida Pinto, Andy Serkis as Caesar, John Lithgow as Charles Rodman and Tom Filton as Dodge Landon.
*This review will be vague as to not spoil anything*

Right so what is this Rise of the Planet of the Apes about? This is a Its follows pre-qual to the other Planet of the Apes films and series and shows how the Apes coming into ruling. With this it follows Will Rodman who is a scientist trying to find a cure for Alzheimer's disease as his father Charles Rodman suffers from it.The tests he does to find this cure are on Chimpanzee's. But this cure involves the Chimps to become human like and eventually stronger.

OK so is Planet of the Apes good? Yes! The story and acting is amazing, I think in every way. It captures many emotions whilst watching, and keeps you gripped to the story and what is happening. Also seeming as Planet of the Apes is only about 1 hour and 45 minutes long, it kept the story quick and to the point with out having tons of extra pointless dialogue you sometimes see in others of this type of genre. The way Andy Serkis who plays Caesar has brought together human like qualities into the powerful and some what fearsome of the Apes is truly amazing, as excepted to be honest hehe.

The soundtrack made by Patrick Doyle is another thing that I really like about this film as it again brings together qualities of a human-like feel and the tribal drumming of the wild for the Apes. It enhances the characters or should I say Apes movements brings out the intensity and power of these animals,

Do I recommend watching this film? Yes, but only if you either  1. Liked the original Planet of the Apes 2. Like or don't mind science-y type films and 3. If you like Apes. I think even if you're like me and dont really like Apes this will shine a slightly different light on them as being.... pretty cool actually haha.
I would say however if you do not like science-y or have no interest in this type of film at all then obviously it would not be a thing to watch at all for you, because there is a lot of science talk and a lot of things that could be classed as 'geeky' haha~

The only thing that it find silly about this film is the title (but thats just me being petty and nit picky haha)....its very long and doesnt have a nice flow when said haha. But that has nothing to do with how good this film is, and I know its very fitting and makes sense why its called that haha.....

Right so that is it for my review, I think you can tell I liked it. Please do comment in the comment section below and say whether you agree, disagree or have just a general comment about The Rise Of the Planet of the Apes!
